Candida Yeast and Leaky Gut Syndrome
Some doctors argue that 60 to 80
percent of the American
population may be affected by an overgrowth of candida yeast. Much of
this is caused by the overuse of prescription antibiotics and diets
high in sugar and other carbohydrates. If left untreated the yeast can
become parasitic, robbing us of vital nutrients in addition to
developing rhizoids (plant like roots) that penetrate and attach
themselves to the inside of the intestinal wall. These roots can dig
deep enough to cause permeability in the intestinal tract and allow
toxic material to flow into the blood. This condition is known as Leaky
Gut Syndrome or LGS. Beneficial bacteria attach themselves to the
intestinal wall helping to repair and clean the mucosa rather than
destroy it. Bad bacteria, good bacteria, and candida yeast all fight
for available attachment points along the intestinal wall. When
sufficient amounts of beneficial bacteria are introduced, candida is
overtaken and healthy intestinal flora will colonize in its place.
Gentle Candida Yeast
Cleanse
Yeast thrives in extremely
anaerobic (low oxygen) conditions.
Syntol facilitates an extremely oxygenated environment, preventing the
growth of additional yeast colonies and providing the perfect
conditions for indigenous bacterial growth. In addition, Syntol is
extremely effective at removing candida yeast that has already attached
to the digestive tract. Candida is protected by an outer protein layer,
and under this shell the yeast is primarily composed of cellulose
(plant cells) and N-acetyl-glucosamine (chitin). Syntol uses an
extremely potent enzyme blend of protease (protein digesting),
cellulase (cellulose digesting), hemicellulase (cellulose and chitin
digesting), and serrapeptase (protein and chitin digesting). These
enzymes strip away the candida’s protective protein shell and
begin digesting its cellular infrastructure. Antifungals and herb
supplements can combat yeast as well, but they tend to leave the dead
fungus in the body to ferment as it decays. Fermented yeast releases
neurotoxins such as formaldehyde, alcohol and acetaldehyde into the
blood via the bowel which can lead to brain fog and uncomfortable
flu-like symptoms. In many cases the yeast cleansing treatment is more
uncomfortable than the yeast infection itself. The enzymes in Syntol
digest the yeast, breaking the fungus down before it has a chance to
ferment leaving virtually no signs of die-off, making Syntol one of the
only gentle yeast cleanses of its kind.
Bacteria and other microbes inhabit our digestive tract making it
possible to digest food, absorb nutrients, and fight off infections.
Without microflora, our immune system would erupt after eating a piece
of improperly washed fruit. Intestinal microflora make it possible to
fight off toxic bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella, as well as
efficiently pass waste matter out of the body.
Living Bacteria
Our bodies are filled with millions of bacteria, some of which are
essential to life while others cause disease and illness. The human
digestive tract carries over 400 distinct microorganisms. The number of
microorganisms in the body far exceeds the number of tissue cells,
making up nearly four pounds of body weight. Too often antibiotics are
over-prescribed to patients who visit the doctor feeling ill. While
antibiotics can be life saving, they can have negative attributes as
well. Antibiotics do not target specific infectious bacterial strains,
thus they also destroy essential strains needed for proper immune
function and digestion. After exposure to antibiotics, our bodies must
work overtime to regenerate the good bacteria that are ever so
important for optimal health.
Commercially raised animals for meat and dairy products are exposed to some 30 different antibiotics during their lifespan, all approved for use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These antibiotics are as detrimental to good bacteria as they are to the bad. The western diet, which contains high levels of processed flours, sugars, preservatives, and chlorinated water, is just one factor that can lead to an improper balance of intestinal flora. Giving antibiotics to the animals from which we get our dairy products is also another negative in the balance of good vs. bad bacteria. Now more than ever is there a need to replenish the beneficial flora missing from our diets.
Advanced Microflora Delivery
Typical probiotic formulas contain competing strains of bacteria. These strains can be cannibalistic or fight for the same food sources. Simply including additional strains of bacteria to a formula does not necessarily make it more effective, and in some cases can actually have the adverse effect. Syntol AMD contains 100% complementary microflora in capsule form. Typical probiotic formulas are sold in tablet form, which are easier and less expensive to manufacture, but much less absorbable than powdered capsules. Syntol AMD utilizes spore germination technology, a revolutionary new process that delivers probiotic spores rather than living bacteria. Probiotic spores are dormant life forms that protect the bacteria from acidic conditions, as well as extreme heat and cold. These spores then attach themselves to the inside of the intestinal mucosa and begin to germinate forming the probiotic bacteria. Spore germination technology is an extremely dependable means of delivering probiotics in less than ideal conditions.
Synbiotic Formula
Syntol is a combination of probiotics and prebiotics more commonly referred to and classified as synbiotics. Prebiotics are soluble fibers that stimulate the growth and activity of beneficial flora. Syntol uses short-chain Fructo-oligosaccharides or FOS as a prebiotic. FOS is completely resistant to bodily digestion. These neosugars pass safely through the stomach and small intestine to the colon, where they stimulate the growth of probiotics and bifidobacteria by fermenting and creating the ideal conditions for microflora colonization. The health benefits of short-chain FOS are boundless, and can even increase the body’s ability to absorb calcium and other vital minerals.
